Saturday 09/04/2004
Jim & I woke up at 7am and started getting ready to leave for Vegas.  We LAGGED big time before we actually got in the car to leave.  Jummel was supposed to go with us, but he flaked.  We called Jayson & he said that he was going to find a ride up there.
So Jim & I get in the car at 8:30ish and get gas.  Then we stop by DJ's to get breakfast, but they didn't have what I wanted so we went to my house to pick up the stuff I forgot.  We decided to eat breakfast at there, so that we could save some money.  We leave my house at 9:15 and end up at Stater Brothers in Downey so that Jim could go to the bank and I could get drinks.  I stopped by the Scrathers machine and bought a couple of scratchers.  I thought I won $25,000 for 10 years.  Just kidding.  I didn't read it right...  The line was too long so we ended up at the Mobile and got some more gas and got our drinks and lotto tickets there.  Jim got upset because I didn't buy him lottery and we ended up not talking until we hit Barstow.  Jim got some black pants from the iZod store for $13.00.  Good deal.  We left and started on our way again.  Jim started pinching my cheek so I got mad at him and then he got mad at me so we didn't talk all the way to Stateline.  At Stateline, I asked him to stop so that I could pee.  When I got to the car, I was going to drive the rest of the way, but he wouldn't let me so I let him drive.  We got to Vegas at 2ish and went to Party City.
Jim got his pimp hat and cane and I got a cane and necklace for my brother.  After that, we went to Mark's hotel and picked them up to get some food.  We met up with his cousin and made our way to a mexican restaraunt.  His cousin's wife met us there and we ate and hung out.  After that we had to meet up with Kori in B.F.E. to pick up some stuff.  Then we went to the mall so that Trisha could buy her outfit for the evening.  We got back to the hotel and started getting ready.
Bro came over while we were getting ready and started talking shit about filipino time... hahaha...  So we left for the party at 8:45 and got there at 9:00.  We went in at 9:15.
It was a really cool scene.  Maybe a little much on the Asian factor, but it was still cool.  Half nekkid girls in lingerie with their asses showing off :)  It was cool.

So I spent Monday getting over a hangover.  Took a 2 1/2 hour lunch at Jim's so that I could sleep some of it off.  Worked until 5ish and then went to Jim's house to help cook dinner.  Jonathan brought home about 40 cups of Jamba Juice because his friend's store had a cancelled catering order.  So we benefited from the cancellation.

We ate dinner and after dinner watched tv.  The tent was still in my car so I nudged Jim to bring it back to his cousin's house.  He hit me back and it hurt.  fucker.

FRIDAY 08/13/2004

Rode the bike to work, rode home, changed, and went to play bingo.  Hung out with Chona, my moms, and Jerilyn.  Yup, another friday night at the Bingo Hall.  And we didn't win. Spent the night at Jim's so that he could clean his bike.

SATURDAY 08/14/2004

Jim dropped me off at home.  I started to defrost the chicken.  Put on my rollerblades and dragged Kayla to Karissa's house.  Karissa rode her bike while Kayla and I rollerbladed to the park.  We went around 3 times and the girls were "thirsty" and "tired", so we headed home.  Got home and started cooking the chicken.  Washed my bike and then started getting ready.  Drove my mom's Matrix to Jim's work to bring him his dinner.  I ended up having to go on a Starbucks run for the whole E.R.  After I dropped off the 9 fraps and 1 coffee, the guys called and I met them at Legend Motorsports.  I picked up my stickers and b.s.'d for a minute.  Got home at around 5:30 and headed to the Bingo Hall.  Didn't win again.  Met up with Jim at my house and left to get some alcohol for the next day's festivities and to pick up the tent from his cousin's house.  By the time we got to bed, it was 1:00am. *blah*

SUNDAY 08/15/2004

Last weekend was Nissei week.  On Sunday, we brought the motorcycles to the show and hung out there all day.  We woke up super early - at 5:30am, ate breakfast, went home to get ready, loaded up the cooler with the beer & the ice, and waited for Jim, Maureen & Kevin to get to my house.  We got to Jayson's at 7:15am and waited for the laggers.  The guys didn't have any cups so Maureen & I went to pick some up at Albertson's, and got a call from Jim to pick up the chains from Mark's house.  So after all the get ready to go drama, we were on the road by 8:10 to ride to downtown LA for the show...

We got there and the guys started setting up and I started drinking at 9:30.  I was faded by 10:30 and spent the whole day fawking around, dancing on the bike, taking pictures, drinking, splashing people with water.  It was fun for me...

The guys didn't do too well in the show but I guess you can't win them all...

We left at around 7ish and I was still pretty twisted.  I made it home and fell asleep by 9:00pm.  I spent the whole night drinking water or 7-up and throwing up.  It sucked.

FRIDAY 08/06/2004

Work.  Jim picked me up and drove us to Speed Zone in Pomona so that we could drive the carts.  It was fun.  I kicked his butt the first time and the second time, I almost had him but I overturned and crashed.  Oh wells.  It was still fun.  Afterwards, we were trying to figure out what to eat and ended up driving to Shoreline Park so we could eat at Bubba Gumps.  The wait was 45 minutes so we just walked around until it was time to eat.  I've never eaten there before but I'm glad that I did, because the food was GOOOD.  After dinner we walked around the lighthouse to burn off some of the food, then went home to sleep.

SATURDAY 08/07/2004

Went into work for a few and picked up some work to bring to the Bingo Hall.  Played Bingo.  Didn't win.

SUNDAY 08/08/2004

Stayed home all day with Jim...  Went to Hawaiin Garden at 9:00.  I didn't have any money so Jim loaned me $20.  I left the table with $210 :)   Picked up some flautas from Tacos San Pedro.  Went home and went to sleep.

So I finally got my bike painted.  It's AWESOME!

So, I'm in my last half an hour of work and i've wasted it posting on if...  whatever.

I want to write about my wonderful weekend with Jim but I can't right now because I have a written Philosophy final due at 5:00pm on thursday AND a final to take at 4:00 the same day.  So I'll be spending the next couple of days either studying or writing...

wish me LUCK!!!  Cuz I'm really not doing very well in these classes... blah!

On Friday called in sick and Jim & I went to Pechanga for the daily Texas Hold 'em tournament. I lost so I sat at a 2/4 table. I lost some more so I got up to check on how Jim was doing. I decided to press my luck with my last $40 and ended up leaving the table with $230...

 

After that we drove down to San Diego and checked into our little cottage over the beach.  After unloading all our drinks, we ate some mushrooms and walked over to the beach.  We hung out all afternoon at the beach and enjoyed our high.  It was pretty crazy.  Everything was so ‘scary’.  We walked over to the water and the wet sand had trails of black stuff.  It looked like long fingers to me.  SCARY!!!  We walked back to our towels and then some guys talked to us and offered Jim a beer.  They were pretty scary too.  They wouldn’t stop talking!  Anyhow, I wanted to go back to the cottage so we headed back there and had some mimosas.  We ran out of champagne so we walked over to the Smart & Final around the corner and picked some more up.  We decided to buy some frozen stuffed clams to eat for dinner.  I thought we might need some rice, so we went to a sushi restaurant and they charged me $3 for a small container of rice!!!  What a ripoff!  Anyhow, we ate dinner on the balcony and drank some more mimosas.  After that we showered and went to bed early *wink*

Saturday, 06/05/2004 **ONE YEAR**
We got up early and ate breakfast, took a nap, then hung out at the beach again. This time we had sangrias and relaxed some more... We ate a late lunch at 'Da Kine' and went back to the cottage for another nap. We got up at 8:30 and had dinner and then decided to check out Barona Casino. That is a very nice casino. Anyhow, we played Hold 'em again and I lost. So I decided to try Black Jack, sat at a table with $20 and left with $230. We got back to the cottage at 4:30 am and went to sleep...

Sunday, 06/06/2004
Sunday, we left S.D. early and made it home at around 2pm.  We called Jummel and Levi and rode up to Tony's BBQ at the shop in B.F.E.  By the time we got there, the cops had shut down the BBQ and everyone left.  A few of us stayed to eat the rest of the food and watched the Lakers get their asses kicked on home court <-- That was the worst part of the weekend *blah*

Jim kept drinking and it upset me because he had to ride his bike home.  I left with Jerilyn to go home and waited for Jim to come.  He came and we talked about it and made up :)

And I'm so sad because I'm sitting here at work... waaaaaaah!!!

I couldn't ask for the day off because I'm planning on spending a week in Vegas for 4th of July weekend so there goes my vacation time...

I'm calling in sick next friday because it's Our One year anniversary and we're going to ride our bikes to San Diego for the weekend and stay at Crystal Piel in Pacific Beach...

Anyhow I'm excited about next week, we're supposed to ride to Pechanga in the morning so that we could enter the Texas Hold 'em tourney.  After I win, we're supposed to ride into San Diego and chill at the cottage for the weekend :)

One whole year with a boyfriend.  I can't imagine my life without him.  Yeah yeah...  We say that ALL the time but I've actually found the guy that could not only keep up with me, but could also put me in my place.  He spoils me and yet he's firm.  Our relationship just works - we don't have to make it work.  I LOVE that!

Anyhow, I'd best get my ass to work...  *blah*!

My co-workers always ask me why I don't ride my motorcycle to work too much.  Mainly it's because of all the CRAP that i need to have with me - it's either my gym work out clothes or my stuff for school or big tupperwares of food for lunch :)

Anyhow, I decided to ride into work today because I wasn't going to the gym since I'll be going to Karissa's school to watch her get her medal for getting a 3.5 GPA on her last report card.  I'm so proud of her :)
